NPR Tiny Desk has done it again. The session from these guys came on shuffle on my TV one day and instantly hooked me. They’re an alt-rock band but there’s something funky about them. As Wikipedia says, they’re “commonly described as a mix between alt-country and emo.” I love that you can see the passion and emotion of the singer in every song (plus the banjo and harmonies).
