“Great Big Sea is a Canadian Folk rock band, best known for performing energetic rock interpretations of traditional Newfoundland folk songs, including sea shanties (from their Scottish heritage). Ordinary Day was their second single and gained recent buzz. Fun fact: it was used as the team Canada goal song in 2024 at the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship in Sweden.”
